Four Poster Room

The Four Poster room was originally the drawing room which was usually on the first floor in this type of house. It is a very large room with a lovely fireplace and it has window shutters that work. The bed has antique posts but a modern mattress! We call this room the Frog room as the bathroom has beautiful frog tiles (actually, we think one may be a toad!).

There is an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath. The Freeview TV is heavily disguised inside an antique cabinet so it doesn't spoil the period feel of the room. Our wireless Wi-Fi Internet access is free of charge. There are ironing facilities, a small fridge with proper milk and a bottle opener, a hairdryer, and a hospitality tray, as well as those extra items such as a torch, spare blanket, fan heater and fan. We have tried to think of everything a guest might need and our guests often mention our great attention to detail.
